W tym roku Doktor powraca na Humble Comics Bundle, co oznacza mnóstwo komiksów w wersji cyfrowej do zgarnięcia w bardzo atrakcyjnej cenie. Takiej, którą (prawie) sami określacie i do tego możecie przy okazji wesprzeć organizację charytatywną!

Jak to działa?

Dla tych, którzy nie słyszeli wcześniej o Humble Bundle (nie tylko komiksowych), oto małe wyjaśnienie, o co w tym wszystkim chodzi. Za wybraną paczkę komiksów (zawartość poszczególnych paczek poniżej) płacicie tyle, ile chcecie, tj. przynajmniej tyle, ile wymagane jest dla danego progu i nie można zapłacić mniej niż 1 euro. Co więcej sami ustalacie, ile i na jaki cel zostanie przeznaczona wpłacona przez Was kwota. Taka była idea od początku istnienia Humble Bundle, które jest znane przede wszystkim z paczek z grami komputerowymi, ale od jakiegoś czasu można tam znaleźć książki o różnej tematyce, komiksy, słuchowiska czy oprogramowanie niesłużące rozrywce.

Poza proponowanymi odgórnie narzuconymi ustawieniami, sami decydujecie, jaka kwota trafi do wydawcy lub autora (w tym przypadku do Titana), do wybranej organizacji charytatywnej (tutaj chyba bez większych zaskoczeń – to nie pierwsza doktorowa współpraca z BBC Children in Need), no i wreszcie – ile dostanie samo Humble. Co jest natomiast istotne, to to że Humble Bundle przyjmuje płatności zarówno kartą, jak i PayPalem czy Alipay. Komiksy możecie kupić dla siebie albo jako prezent dla kogoś – podajecie wtedy maila obdarowanej osoby, na który ma zostać wysłany dostęp do komiksów lub sami możecie dostać link, który następnie komuś wysyłacie.

Do zakupionych komiksów macie dostęp wieczysty, tj. płacicie dokładnie raz, nie jest to żaden abonament. Dostęp do nich w przeciwieństwie do Comixology/Amazonu czy takiego Marvela nie trzeba żadnej dodatkowej aplikacji wymagającej stałego połączenia z internetem. Dostajecie bowiem do ściągnięcia pliki, więc możecie je po ściągnięciu czytać offline. Dostępne formaty komiksów to: PDF, ePUB oraz CBZ.

Progów jest pięć, w każdym dostajecie od 4 do 56 komiksów, rzecz jasna po angielsku. Każda pozycja na liście jest opisana i ma darmowy PDF z pięcioma pierwszymi stronami komiksu.
